Salary $25.72 Hourly
Receive, process, and dispatch emergency and non-emergency requests for law enforcement services within Tarrant County.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Utilizes 9-1-1 telephones.
2. Utilizes administrative telephones.
3. Utilizes police radio.
4. Performs general office duties.
5. Performs all other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
NOTE: You must fill out the work history and education sections of application to show you have years of experience/education as required by hiring department or be disqualified.High School Diploma or GED. One (1) year of work experience. TCIC/NCIC Full Access Operator, Dispatcher, and 911 Basic Telecommunicator Certification within one (1) year. Basic Computer Skills, General Office Skills. Must take and pass an entry-level exam.
Tarrant County will conduct background checks that will include a criminal background check and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records, educational attainment, or additional State or Federal legal requirements.
