Tarrant 9-1-1 District recognizes this need and offers free community outreach to the Tarrant County and City of Irving community. Some key points to remember when calling 9-1-1

• Know your address or location of where the emergency is occurring
• Stay Calm
• Don’t hang up until told to do so by the 9-1-1 operator
• Listen to all the instructions given to you by the 9-1-1 operator
• Never put yourself or others in danger when calling in an emergency
